Micro Focus Connect Core is a data synchronization technology that provides data and relationship synchronization between products across the software development / DevOps lifecycle. It is available as a utility (Micro Focus Connect Core ) free-of-charge to all OpenText customers to be used to synchronize models with OpenText products, only.
Customers must have an active support and maintenance agreement to be entitled to use MF Connect Core.
Connectors allow organizations to share up to date information across their DevOps applications and teams, giving them visibility and traceability across applications without the need for custom scripting and individual integration maintenance.
A number of connectors come pre-packaged with the base utility (Micro Focus Connect Core ); other connectors must be downloaded separately (this page as well as MF Connect Core Connectors ).
This Marketplace page contains the SAP Signavio Connector for Micro Focus Connect Core.
This connector has been designed for direct synchronization of SAP Signavio process models with Core Software Delivery Platform and generate the models in MBT repository for mode-based testing and automation.
This version is bundled with two connectors:
1) SAP Signavio Connector:
- This connector is a source connector connects to SAP Signavio process manager shared folders and reads the published models for synchronization to OpenText CSDP platform.
2) OpenText CSDP MBT Connector:
- This connector is a target connector connects to OpenText CSDP platform and syncs the models read from SAP Signavio process manager to MBT repository which generates the models, paths and units.
Enabling the integration between SAP Signavio Process Manager and OpenText CSDP products requires (2) components which all need to be deployed for the integration to be functional.
Component 0:
Micro Focus Connect Core - the base utility requ ired to make use of this SAP Signavio connector.
Component 1:
Connector for SAP Signavio Process Manager (this component, to be deployed into an existing MF Connect Core installation)
Component 2:
Connector for OpenText CSDP platform for MBT (this component, to be deployed into an existing MF Connect Core installation)
SAP Signavio Process Manager Connector (component 1) which integrates with OpenText CSDP MBT Connector (component 2) for the purpose of model synchronization.
The components which will be deployed within the Micro Focus Connect environment are the contents of the archive "mfConnectorSignavio_v{Version Number}.zip" and “mfConnectorMBT _v{Version Number}.zip”
The contents of the archive are to be placed in a subdirectory of the "connectors" folder of an existing MF Connect Core installation - for example: "C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Connect\AppData\connectors\ mfConnectorSignavio".
For further details please refer to the MF Connect documentation on how to install connectors.
