2. To use the HP Screen Recorder with side-by-side versions of Quality Center 10.00 and ALM 11.00, deploy the necessary Quality Center 10.00 client files:

  1. Launch Quality Center 10.00 from your Web browser.
  2. Click the Site Administration link.
  3. Close the Web browser.

 

3. Click Download to install this add-in on your ALM client machine. To install this add-in, you must log in with administrator privileges.

 4. Open Screen Recorder and connect to ALM. If the connection to the ALM Server requires web authentication, or if the connection is established via proxy, click the Network Settings button on the login screen and provide the relevant information. Note that the password in the web authentication section is not stored between runs.

5. When you start Screen Recorder, when prompted to automatically begin recording, select Continuous mode recording. Alternatively, use the Record option to record only when needed.

6. During recording, click the Stop button or choose Stop from the main menu. You can then select from options that enable you to view and edit the movie before attaching it to a new defect in ALM.
