Description


This script is designed to extract a user-specified result-set to a Project VIC data-set.

The script works in a similar fashion to the Export Project VIC files option accessible from the Entries tab.

The main benefit to using the script is that it can process items spread across multiple devices (e.g., evidence files and mounted compound files) without having to load those devices into view first. It's ideal when the files to be processed have been tagged.

Also, the examiner can set the output category, which is not currently possible when using the internal Project VIC export function.

Lastly the script supports records whereas the internal Project VIC export function does not.

Output is provided via the console window. Settings are saved for re-use.
