The downloads referenced under the "Cybersecurity Early Access" category are made available to subscribers to mitigate time-critical issues but have not undergone formal quality and performance testing associated with official OpenText/Cybersecurity product releases. OpenText has a multi-stage Quality Assurance process. During Stage 1 we conduct a resource analysis, field mapping, ensure content level 1 functionality and analysis in our sandbox environment. Stage 2 is a complete validation including production validation. This package has cleared Stage 1 validation and therefore should be deployed with the appropriate pre-production validation. OpenText strongly recommends that any downloaded content is first checked and tested thoroughly in a non-production environment before committing to production. We welcome feedback and, should any content be shown to be faulty, detrimental or carry an incorrect claim of authorship, we shall endeavor to remove or correct such content as promptly as reasonably possible once notified and validated.

Description

This package provides reports to track usage for the ONE ARCSIGHT MANAGED SECURITY PROVDER PROGRAM for Enterprise Security Manager (version 6.11 or later) and Logger (version 7.1 or later).

The ONE ARCSIGHT MANAGED SECURITY PROVDER PROGRAM is offered to Managed Security Service Partners (MSSPs) as a more affordable "pay as you go" subscription option. Instead of purchasing a perpetual license that requires a large initial investment, the Pay-Per-Use Program offers Service Partners the flexibility to match licensing costs to actual product usage. Through this program Micro Focus makes the entire Security Operations portfolio of products, which includes ArcSight and Sentinel, significantly more affordable and convenient to deploy for our Service Provider Partners.

The ONE ARCSIGHT MANAGED SECURITY PROVDER PROGRAM is available as a 1- or 3-year term subscription. Over the course of the subscription Service Partners are invoiced for usage based on event ingestion on a per day basis - measured as average Events per Second (EPS) per day. Event ingestion is measured against

· ArcSight Platform – tracks usage for Recon & Intelligence Standard Edition

· Enterprise Security Manager (ESM)

· Logger

· Sentinel

Usage tracking reports are available for each product, which also help to provide transparency to the Service Partner. This package provides usage reporting for the ESM and Logger products specifically.
