Ransomware is a type of malicious software designed to block access to a computer system until a sum of money is paid. The Ransomware Activity content package leverages ArcSight Logger to identify and detect ransomware activity on the organization using ransomwaretracker.abuse.ch threat intelligence.
The Ransomware Activity Content Package for Logger is supported on version 6.2 or later of both the Logger Appliance and software Logger. To determine your Logger version, in the Logger UI, click About. This content package is self-contained and does not rely on any other ArcSight packages or solutions.
