Content Capsule to use Oracle VM Manager (OVM) as an infrastructure resource provider in CSA and HCMX.
This content is a proof of concept and can be used as example for building custom integration content.
Once capsule is deployed through the content upload, create a provider of type Oracle VM Manager with:
Service Access Point:
https://ovm.yourdomain.something:7002
UserID: admin (default admin id for Oracle VM Manager)
Password: <your OVM admin password>
Check and maybe customize the newly created Service Offering for Orable VM Manager Simple Compute, publish it and test. Once VMs are deployed, the end-user can select multiple User Operations through MPP like Start, Stop, Suspend, Resume and Flex CPU and Memory.
This content uses the "Clone Template" feature of OVMM. Make sure you have available templates to work with. For the best possible results, also include the ovmd (or equivalent) guest agent configured and running in your templates. This allows CSA/HCMX to grab the IP address of the new deployed VM. If there's no guest agent, provisioning will take longer and there will be no IP address reported back into the portal.
Some of the OO flows that are used, connect to the OVMM server CLI interface through ssh on port 10000. To allow for smooth flow execution, make sure that your CSA/HCMX master server is able to connect to OVMM over ssh on port 10000. For instance, run a session from the CSA/HCMX server with "ssh admin@ovmm.example.com -p 10000".
