Description

This HP OO Content Pack has been developed to enable to invoke workflows on NetApp OnCommand WFA via the WFA REST API. This content pack will dramatically reduce the amount of time required to develop higher level automation flows for use cases like:

  • Integration with a private cloud portal (eg. HP’s Cloud Service Automation)
  • Creating a new storage volume or LUN and attaching it to a server, VM host, or VM in a single flow
  • Updating a configuration management database (CMDB) in conjunction with the creation or modification of a storage volume or LUN.
  • Automation of the failover of an application in conjunction with the reversal of a storage replication mirror
  • Automation of a nondisruptive move of a storage volume to a higher performance storage service in response to the detection of a performance issue within an application
