Description

The Network Performance content pack for Operations Bridge Reporter provides reports on performance, health and availability of network nodes. The Network Performance content has only executive summary reports that allow user view data about network nodes and systems in a single report OBR collects data about network nodes and interfaces from NNMi iPerf SPI component. OBR directly connects to NPS (Network Performance Server) database and collects performance metrics of network nodes and interfaces. The reports of Network Performance Content help to analyze the performance of network nodes from a business service or group context. The resource utilization of network nodes can be predicted using network forecast summary report. The Top N reports helps to view the network devices and systems in a single report based on CPU and memory utilization. The report has analytical features that can be used to slice and dice the data from network devices and systems based on model, vendor and OS. There is also a report that list the Top network devices and interfaces based on various performance metrics of network nodes and interfaces like buffer utilization, backplane utiliation, cpu utilization, discard rate, error rate, memory utilization, response time, throughput and availability.
