Description

Best Quality is a Quality Assurance Management System application which includes the feature, test plan, test case, defect, test execution and test result analysis.

It includes an Integration package for Jenkins and documents how the application can use MS Teams as well.

The application includes the following Use Cases:

Create a Testing Environment

TheQA team/individual can request for an environment on a certain build/release for testing purposes. The environment can be used for both manual and automation testing.
SMAX will trigger a Jenkins job to deploy a new environment based on the parameters was set. Some Servers(Device) will be created in SMAX and linked to the test environment

Create a Test Set

The QA team can request to run a test set. the test set is a set of multiple test cases. The tests will be run on the environment selected by the QA, or it will deploy a new environment if there is not suitable environment for the purpose.
Each test case will have a test report linked. The test set will list all the test reports. And has a html format report for the summary.
A test set can be rerun when needed

CPE Defect Use Case

Customer discovers problem when trying to use Released Feature
CPE Team raise defect via the Service Portal offering
Defect created in the Best Quality Application

· Update the version number of the Feature based upon Major/Minor fix
· Update Test Case
· Run through testing of the new defected feature
· Close Defect

Provide Fix to Customer

Compatability

There are two Integration Engine packages. One is for 23.05 and the other for 23.4. Only use the correct Integration Engine package version for the appropriate version of SMAX that you are using.
