Description

The OBM Management Pack for OPTIC Data Lake discovers and monitors key areas of the OPTIC Data Lake including the data flow, agent metric collection, basic Kubernetes availability and Vertica availability.

The OBM Management Pack for OPTIC Data Lake works with Operations Bridge Manager(OBM) and enables you to monitor:

  • Kubernetes pods are running and nodes are ready.
  • Vertica availability, including the status of the Vertica database cluster nodes.
  • Aggregation monitoring by creating events when data isn't collected based on the set parameter value.
  • Key Agent Metric Collector metrics.
  • OPTIC DL data flow from the HTTP Receiver through the Message Bus for key topics and into the Vertica raw tables and hourly/daily aggregation for key tables.

  • Support for monitoring failover clusters of the Vertica database in OPTIC DL.
