IMPORTANT NOTE:
With Filr 4.3 release, Filr Desktop Clients for Windows 7 are deprecated. However, specific customers who use Windows 7 SP1 clients can still use this client after upgrading the Filr server to Filr 4.3. To use the Windows 7 clients with Filr 4.3 or later, you need to install this Filr desktop client binary. Hence, the desktop clients will receive any critical security updates released at the sole discretion of Micro Focus Customer Support. However, this client neither contains any features of Filr 4.3 nor will receive any feature updates from future releases of Filr. For any feature updates, Windows 7 clients need to be updated to Windows 10 or later.
Product Description
Micro Focus Filr rapidly delivers secure, collaborative, remote access to your existing file system with no requirement to migrate files nor reapply access controls.
This client is available in two different packages:
1. MicroFocusFilrSetup-x86-4.2.4.exe - This is the Filr desktop application for Windows for 32-bit workstations. This EXE file includes .NET Framework 4.5 and Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package, which are required.

2. MicroFocusFilr-x86-4.2.msi - This is the Filr desktop application for Windows for 32-bit workstations. Use the MSI file only when you want to distribute the Filr desktop application via client management software such as Micro Focus ZENworks. The MSI file does not include .NET Framework 4.5, which is required.
