APM Alerts (any type of alert such as CI Status, EUM or SLM alerts) can have an action. The available actions are: send email, generate event (to OBM), send SNMP trap, invoke URL (but only GET) and run executable. Many tools these days can ingest data via REST endpoint, but typically you need to POST the data in the request payload, which APM doesn’t support.
Using this tool you can POST alerts from APM to any REST API endpoint.
This tool uses Basic Authentication when sending the payload to REST API.
